Game & Watch is a line of relatively early Nintendo dedicated game consoles conceived by Gunpei Yokoi and inspired by calculators (i.e. consoles which are games; with no cartridges/discs/etc. required), before their more popular handheld gaming consoles (such as the Game Boy, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Switch and their variations). These consoles are now relatively expensive collector's items, however a few more modern entries have been produced for promotions (such as the 35th Anniversary of the Super Mario franchise, which does not require a watch battery).

The Game & Watch games serve as both a game, clock/alarm and typically require a watch battery. There are many variations of the Game & Watch consoles with their own games, namely the Silver Series, Gold Series, Wide Screen Series, Multi Screen Series, New Wide Screen Series, Color Screen Tabletop Series, Panorama Screen Series, Super Color Series, Micro VS. Series, Crystal Screen Series, and promotional stand-alone games part of none of those series.[1]

There are two Game & Watch games relevant to Sanrio internationally; Snoopy (Game & Watch) and Snoopy Tennis.
