Variations[edit | edit source]

  • Game Boy Advance SP: Released in 2003, the Game Boy Advance SP featured a button to improve the brightness of the screen and was redesigned in a way that it resembles a miniature foldable laptop computer, rather than the original Game Boy Advance. Like the original Game Boy Advance it supports Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
  • Game Boy Micro: A small rectangular variation of the Game Boy Advance released in September 2005. It does not support Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
