Culture Shock is a Sanrio universe, introduced in 1985.

Yumenosuke and Tetsunoshin are two characters who originated from the East (and are designed to have Japan cultural specific clothes, such as of a samurai). They travelled to the West in order to learn more about Paris, the "city of flowers".
