Dachonosuke is a Sanrio universe, introduced in 1985. It features an ostrich with a microphone and his friends.

The main character is an enthusiastic performer with a microphone (Dachonosuke), with his female friend Dachomi. They have been used as a mascot for Strawberry News' popularity contest. The characters are fashionable and cute, and have also appeared in Character Soft's game Sanrio Cup: Pon Pon Volley.
