Jewelpet (Japanese: ジュエルペット) is a franchise jointly owned by Sanrio and Sega Sammy Holdings, which was launched on January 15th 2008.[1]. The franchise features animals known as Jewelpets; some of which are named after jewels, birthstones and minerals.

The Jewelpet franchise has produced seven anime seasons, a feature-length film and a web-based spinoff.

Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess is a feature length film released in Japan on August 11, 2012. DVD and BluRay versions were released on January 25, 2013.
Jewelpet: Attack Chance?! is an original net animation released as a spin-off to the Jewelpet franchise. It takes place after the events of Magical Change. The series was released online on February 18 2016 and was streamed to Jewelpod and Jewelpad devices, as well as the Sega Toys YouTube channel.
