Kashiwankomochi or Kashiwanko is a Sanrio character introduced in 2013.
Though he is not a third party character, he is unlisted on the Japanese Sanrio website's list of 'all' characters or the English official Sanrio website.
Kashiwankomochi came third in a Sanrio contest known as Food Character Election held from September 3rd 2013 until December 1st 2013. The winner was KIRIMI-chan and Gudetama came second.[1]
Biography[edit | edit source]
Kashiwankomochi is a ricecake with features of a dog. He is the eldest son of three siblings and appeared in a food shop with Botawanko, Sakurawanko, Shiomamewanko and Uguisu-san.[2]
