Minna no Tābō also known in short as Tabo is a Sanrio character introduced in 1984.

A possible literal translation of his name is "Let's Travel with Everyone"; based on an inflected form of 旅 (tabi), but whether this was the intended meaning is unknown.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Minna no Tābō is a cheerful and honest young boy whose birthday is May 5th (Children's Day). He eats birthday cake and Kashiwa rice cakes every year. He loves his little brother Makun.

He has a spirit to never give up trying when he makes mistakes.[1] He is good at sports, in particular swimming, but he does not like green peppers or tongue twisters.

He won first prize in "A Contest to Remember" for singing his "Go for it, Tabo!" manifesto song.[2]

He is blood type "mystery".[3]
