Sanrio Cup: Pon Pon Valley (Japanese: サンリオカップポンポンバレー) (©ASCII Corporation, Character Soft) is a video game published by Character Soft for Nintendo's Famicom game system (known outside of Japan as the Nintendo Entertainment System).

It was released on July 17, 1992 only in Japan. An unofficial fan translation of the game into English was also released.[1]

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The genre of this game is a sports game, in which Sanrio characters compete in a game like volleyball (but without any nets) in the Sanrio Cup Tourney to win the Ostrich Golden Cup. Players can choose to play as either Hello Kitty, Kerokerokeroppi, Pochacco, or Minna no Tābō. There can be a maximum of four players in a match.
